Privacy Policy

Rewired ("we", "us") builds a recovery streak tracker for people quitting compulsive porn use. Because this is sensitive, we designed Rewired to keep your recovery data on your device. This policy explains what we process and why. We never sell your personal data.

No account, local-first storage

You can use Rewired without creating an account or signing in. Your streak, quit anchor, urge and relapse log, and onboarding answers are stored locally on your device. We do not upload your recovery diary to our servers, and no one but you can read it.

What stays on your device

The recovery engine runs entirely on-device. Streak math, the Brain-Reboot Timeline, and your relapse analytics (triggers, riskiest hours, urge-surf win rate) are computed locally from your own log. Deleting the app removes this data.

Analytics & diagnostics

We use PostHog to collect anonymous, aggregated product-usage events (for example, that an urge was logged) to improve the app, and Sentry to receive crash and performance reports. These do not include the contents of your log or your personal identity.

Purchases

Subscriptions are processed by Apple and managed through RevenueCat. We receive your subscription status (active / inactive) but never your payment card details.

Advertising & measurement

To understand how people discover Rewired and to measure the performance of our advertising, we use AppsFlyer (a mobile measurement partner) together with advertising platforms such as Meta, TikTok and Google. For this purpose these partners may process your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) and limited app-usage events (such as installing the app or starting a subscription). On iOS we ask for your permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt before any tracking takes place — if you decline, this advertising identifier is not used, and declining does not limit any core feature. You can change your choice anytime in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

Third-party services

PostHog (analytics), Sentry (crash & performance), RevenueCat & Apple (purchases), AppsFlyer (attribution) and advertising partners (Meta, TikTok, Google). Each processes only the limited data described above. We do not share your on-device recovery log with any of them.

What we do not do

We do not sell your personal data. We do not require your name, email, or contacts to use the app. We do not upload your recovery diary.

Data retention & deletion

Your diary lives on your device — deleting the app removes it. To request deletion of any analytics or attribution data tied to your device, email us at [email protected].

Children

Rewired is rated 17+ and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the date above.
